INTRODUCTION:

THE APPROACH:
ScentARC technology, developed via high throughput screening and machine learning, is a precise nutrient blend that impacts underarm microbes, shifting odor profile by selectively preventing the body’s production of odorous compounds. Preventing malodor all day long is now uniquely and naturally possible without harming helpful bacteria, irritating the sensitive underarm area, or clogging pores.

THE DATA:
Analysis of underarm microbiota reveals the revolutionary deodorizing mechanism of ScentARC prebiotic. Underarm swabs of volunteers demonstrate, eight hours after application of a deodorant containing 4% ScentARC, microbiota communities have shifted to increase the proportion of beneficial bacteria like Staphylococcus sp. and show significant decreases in Corynebacterium sp. and Staphylococcus hominis sp., bacteria known to produce malodorous compounds.
